Asthma is a condition that affects the respiratory system of a person. When one has an attack, the airways swell and make air passage through them difficult. As a result, asthma symptoms are felt and they include; wheezing, coughing, shortness of breath and tightness in the chest. This is especially important for exercise induced asthma. The medication can be in syrup, tablets or inhaler form. Prevention of asthma should be a measure taken by governments the world over as the prevalence levels are rising each and every day. This is by providing adequate information and asthma medications.
